What is Squid Manager? Squid Manager is a powerful Mac OS X application that provides a simple graphical interface for controlling and monitoring the Squid web proxy cache running on your Mac. Note: Squid is a high performance web proxy cache that can run on Mac OS X. For more information about Squid, visit squid-cache.org. Squid Manager enables you to: - Start and Stop the Squid web proxy cache. - Rotate the log files that Squid creates. - Reload the Squid configuration file. - Enable and disable full debugging mode. - Monitor Squid log files including the last 100 entries of the log file,  the time of the last entry and the size of the log file. Note: Squid Manager is not designed to help in the configuration of the Squid web proxy cache. Neither is it a log file analysis tool. Requirements Squid Manager requires: - Mac OS X 10.2 or above. - Squid web proxy cache installed and configured. Note: Squid Manager has been tested with Squid 2.3.STABLE4 and Squid 2.5.STABLE1. Squid Manager should work correctly with other versions of the Squid web proxy cache. Licence Squid Manager is free.
